The third congress of the HSN group will bring together its members from various research and institutional backgrounds to discuss topics related to the history of the Early Modern Age and contemporary period. The program includes 17 presentations that explore, across four panels, spaces of assistance and surveillance, social interactions and everyday expressions, health and social control, and social relations and institutions. Given the Ibero-American matrix of the group, the geographical scope of the discussions encompasses spaces and figures from Portugal, Spain, and Brazil.
