I Seminar on Contemporary History
The initiative aims to reflect the dynamics of research carried out by undergraduate and graduate students in Contemporary History and, at the same time, to provide a stimulus for the pursuit of their respective studies, in the wake of the complexity of the pandemic cycle we are experiencing.
In this sense, the First Seminar on Contemporary History has programmed a set of presentations of works carried out and in progress during the academic year 2021-2022 at the Department of History of the University of Minho.
By doing so in the same week as the awarding of the Victor de Sá Prize for Contemporary History, the Department of History and the Contemporary History group embody the need to deepen inter-university links and spaces for discussion and innovation of academic results in this disciplinary area.
The seminar takes place between the 5th and 6th of July 2022, at the Nogueira da Silva Museum, Room Jorge Barradas, in Braga.
This is an initiative organized by the Department of History of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho, by Lab2PT/IN2PAST and by the Cultural Council of the University of Minho.
