The short seminar “Archaeology and Geosciences: the study of traditional materials” will take place on the 21st September 2022, at the University of Minho, Campus de Gualtar (History Laboratory – ICS).
The initiative counts on researchers of several nationalities who are specialists in the interdisciplinary study of materials and ancient construction: Jorge Ribeiro (Lab2PT – University of Minho), Ana Fragata (GeoBioTec – University of Aveiro), Adolfo Fernández Fernández (GEAAT – University of Vigo), Antonio Pizzo (EEHAR – CSIC: Spanish National Research Council) and Jorge Sanjurjo-Sánchez (Institute of Geology – University of A Coruña).
This seminar will have a hybrid format and is organized by Lab2PT (University of Minho) and GeoBioTec (University of Aveiro).
