The SHARE meetings are bi-monthly seminars created, coordinated, and held by doctoral students enrolled in the third cycle of studies in history, archiology and geography of the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Minho / Lab2PT. Besides being an opportunity for doctorate students to meet, each session enables a doctoral student to present the progress of their research and receive contributions from their peers.

Abstract:

The research presented here is based on a case study to implement action research in favor of the social representation of teachers in Portuguese territory. The aim is to identify which dynamics are involved in establishing partnerships between different legal entities that aim to participate more actively in the construction of a more egalitarian society. Based on the concepts of mobilization, activism and identity, the investigation proposes to observe the offline and online social networks of the institutions involved in a social movement provoked during the action, in order to identify how this communication mechanism that proposes to embrace works. a cause.

 

Biography:

PhD student in Communication Sciences, interested in cyberculture, media scheduling and corporate communication for the benefit of education. He worked with hard news and television journalism about and for education. She was Executive Producer of the #Nem1PraTrás digital mobilization, in which she mobilized 200 institutions against school dropouts and for anti-racist education.
