IN2PAST’s exploratory project ‘From Land to Land. Connections for Sustainable Territories (Land-CST) (EXPL/In2Past/2023/09)’ started by characterising a fortified defensive system from the Modern Age, in order to analyse its impact on an agrarian system that was probably introduced after the Restoration War. With the aim of analysing the bread cycle and the material and immaterial heritage associated with it, researchers and the local community have transformed this place into a living laboratory where different research, training and sustainable development initiatives come together. Continuing the dynamic developed in 2022 and 2023, Lab2PT, with the collaboration of IN2PAST, is holding a third meeting focused on education and the socialisation of heritage. Held as part of the Land-CST project, this meeting will focus mainly on different heritage aspects associated with the bread cycle.
