The enduring value of Fernando Távora's work
As part of the Távora 100 programme – Commemorations of the Centenary of the Birth of the Architect Fernando Távora, the exhibition “The permanent value of Fernando Távora’s work”, curated by Vincenzo Riso and Ana Luísa Rodrigues, shows studies developed by students of the EAAD-UM Integrated Master’s Degree in Architecture, as part of the curricular unit Project Workshop (5th year), on the theme of the conservation of Modern heritage. The studies that make up the exhibition reflect on the absolute qualities of Fernando Távora’s work, specifically recognised in the correspondence between the principles of idealisation of the construction and its material reality.
