Following approval and funding from Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia – FCT, in 2022, IN2PAST – Associate Laboratory for Research and Innovation in Heritage, Arts, Sustainability and Territory was born in Portugal. In 2024, after approval and funding by the Brazilian government, IN2PAST.BR was created.

 

The two organisations exist independently, but their common name indicates a history and great willingness of collaboration between researchers and universities on both sides of the Atlantic.

 

It is therefore with great pleasure that IN2PAST Associate Laboratory invites the scientific community in Portugal, as well as different cultural and social partners, to come and get to know IN2PAST.BR (National Institute for Research in Natural History, Cultural Heritage, Arts, Sustainability and Territory). We will also present and discuss examples of research with and about Brazil that, from Portugal, has been carried out at IN2PAST research units.

 

This event will feature the participation of Lab2PT director, Fátima Moura Ferreira.

 

The event will be held in Portuguese.
