The interreg SUDOE Cultur-Monts project in which Lab2PT participates was signed on 21 February. Lab2PT begins a three-year project.

 

 

The signing ceremony to launch the work on the Interreg-SUDOE project Cultur-Monts: Valorisation of Mountain Cultural Landscapes: a resource for sustainable territorial development took place on 21 February. A Lab2PT team, coordinated by researcher Helena Paula Carvalho, is taking part in the project, which will study the Peneda Gerês landscape in its agro-pastoral areas with the aim of valorising them using a methodology common to other areas in France and Spain.

This project involves transdisciplinary, transcultural and transtemporal work with a strong vision of the STS paradigm (Science, Technology and Society).

The entire Cultur-Monts team will begin its research in Peneda-Gêres in May. Terras de Bouro and Arcos de Valdevez will begin a project that is expected to have a strong cultural and economic impact on the territory.
