Film Cycle "Women, Heritage, Society" | 6th Edition

The sixth edition of the film cycle “Women, Heritage, Society”, promoted by the Consello da Cultura Galega (CCG), has the participation of the University of Minho, through the Vice-Rectorate for Culture and Territory, the Center for Galician Studies ( CEG), Camões – Institute of Cooperation and Language, the Federal University of Salvador da Bahia and, in this edition, with the Valença City Council and the Municipality of Tui. This year’s event will take place in Tui (Galicia), at the Municipal Theater, Francisco Sánchez Building (former Panoramic Area), Rúa Colón 2. 36.700 Tui | Pontevedra (Galicia, Spain):
Day 26: 9:30 pm to 1 am (Spanish time)
Days 28 and 29: 10pm to 1am (Spanish time)
This time, special attention will be paid to historical memory, revolutions and transition processes, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution in Portugal. The event will feature Galician, Portuguese and Brazilian productions. The presence of Colonel Mário Tomé, one of the captains of April 25, 74, is also scheduled to take part in the debate at the first session. There will be a debate at the end of each session. Admission is free.
