III ATPD Human Rights Academy - "Villages that Know How to Age"

Registration is now open for the III ATPD Human Rights Academy – “Villages that know how to age”.
As in the previous edition, ATPD is developing this project in partnership with the Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto, Lab2PT – Laboratory of Landscapes, Heritage and Territory and the Center for Research and Innovation in Education – Ined. The Academy has the support of the City Hall of Vila Flor and the U.F. Valtorno / Mourão.This project corresponds to a mixed model of research, exchange, work and learning school for young university students with the aim of producing and disseminating knowledge on issues related to human rights in order to formulate recommendations for action for the future of the Transmontane territories.
The third edition will be held in Vila Flor between 10 and 15 April. As last year, the central theme will be dignified ageing in the community.
The initiative is aimed at university students in the 2nd and 3rd years of their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, between 18 and 30 years old, in the areas of Sociology, Psychology, Social Education, Sociocultural Animation, Gerontology, Educational Sciences, Design, Architecture or similar, or any area, in the case of students residing in Vila Flor.
Registration is open until April 3rd.
