This conference on the energy issue aims to reflect on the economic, social, heritage and environmental impacts of the energy transition model that is being sustained. The aim is to facilitate a calm reflection on the conflicts caused by the provision of different ecosystem services present in the territory, with the energy crisis at the centre of the issue. To this end, two initial conferences will be held on ‘The energy crisis, the eco-social crisis and the role of renewable energies’ and ‘Energy transition policies: an economic approach’. Then there will be two panel discussions: ‘The energy model in Galicia 1: its socio-economic aspects’ on the afternoon of the first day and ‘The energy model in Galicia 2: its socio-cultural and socio-environmental impacts’ on the morning of the second day. On the afternoon of the second day, Rebeca Blanco-Rotea will moderate a round table to draw conclusions with all the participants, on the basis of which a document of conclusions will be drawn up which will be made available to political, spatial planning and heritage agents, with the aim of improving the energy issue in the areas covered by the conference.
