Liliana Neves awarded a scientific research contract through CEEC 2025

Lab2PT/IN2PAST/UMinho integrated researcher Liliana Neves was awarded a scientific research contract through the 2025 Individual Scientific Employment Incentive Competition (CEEC), promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
The approved project is titled “AQUAT: The management of water resources by rural and urban communities in Portugal (16th–20th centuries): potential, challenges, and risks” and aims to study the management of water resources by rural and urban communities in Portugal between the 16th and 20th centuries, analyzing its potential, challenges, and risks over time.
The Individual Scientific Employment Incentive Competition is open to national or international PhDs who wish to conduct scientific research in Portugal. In this edition, 2,784 research projects were tendered, with 400 contracts awarded.
