From 18 to 21 May, the fifth Interreg Cultur-Monts working meeting will take place at the Asturian pilot window in Belmonte de Miranda (Spain), in which the Portuguese Lab2PT team, led by Helena Carvalho, will be represented.

The program of the conferences, organized by the Llabor-Social Landscapes group of the University of Oviedo, host partner, led by Professor Margarita Fernández Mier, includes work sessions and field trips to learn about the material and immaterial heritage of the landscape of Belmonte de Miranda, in particular the archaeological sites of L. linares, Vigaña, Cueiru and la braña de Los Fuexos.

In the internal meetings of the project’s three working groups, emphasis will be given to heritage valorization methodologies, knowledge transfer processes with an educational perspective and the involvement of local agents in all these dynamics.

Thus, among other highlights, the educational project ConCiencia Histórica developed with the Belmonte de Miranda Public School will be presented and an intersectoral meeting will be held with local agents in order to jointly identify needs, expectations and opportunities linked to the project, but also to work on the concept of “School of Territory” / “School of Landscape”.
