The first Portuguese communists and the formation of the Portuguese Communist Party
Open class on the arrival and reception of communist ideals in Portugal, the echoes and impact of the October Revolution in the country, the formation of the first communist groups and the foundation of the Portuguese Communist Party. The session is being held by André Pina (FLUP/Instituto de Sociologia da Universidade do Porto) as part of the Contemporary Age 2 course of the History degree programme.
