An international documentary competition is open for recruitment, in the form of an employment contract for an indefinite period concluded under private law, for an Assistant Researcher job in the scientific area of ​​Civil Engineering, a scientific sub-area of ​​Architectural Engineering, from the Lab2PT Research Center ― Landscapes, Heritage and Territory Laboratory of the School of Architecture, Art and Design.

 

This competition is open under the FCT-Tenure financing instrument aimed at promoting the hiring of doctorates exclusively for permanent positions for integration into the research career, assuming a limit of dedication to teaching activity of 4 hours per week. It falls under the Non-Academic Chair modality, within the scope of the CASAIS Chair proposal on ‘Construction in the Digital Era’, with the broad objective of developing results-oriented research that integrates additive manufacturing, robotics and materials research, with a view to revolutionizing construction with efficient and adaptable projects that reduce time, work and waste.

 

Admission requirements:
1 — Hold a doctorate degree in a branch of knowledge/specialty considered appropriate to the scientific sub-area of ​​the competition.
2 — If the doctorate was awarded by a foreign higher education institution, recognition in Portugal is mandatory, under the terms set out in the applicable legislation for this purpose. This formality (recognition of degrees and academic titles obtained abroad) must be completed by the application deadline.
3 — If you are not a native speaker of Portuguese or English, have language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) in at least one of the languages.
