The Base Program presented for the outdoor spaces of the Azurém Campus aims to improve the quality and usefulness of these spaces, affirming a set of objectives among which we highlight: the requalification and enhancement of existing spaces; its adaptation to new leisure, sporting and cultural practices that reinforce community interaction; the promotion of smooth and safe mobility and integration between the urban fabric of Guimarães and the Azurém Campus.
To achieve these general objectives and to define strategic structuring and particular principles of the Campus, it was necessary to carry out a survey of the current situation, identify conflicts and potentialities to determine a set of actions and formal and temporal criteria in an integrated manner.
