Walking Arts & Local Communities (WALC) is based on an artistic practice (Walking Art), a place (Prespa), and a network of rural and natural places in Europe, working internationally within communities (local citizens, artists, theorists).

The partner in Portugal is Lab2PT, in research lines of artistic practices in context. Lab2PT’s lead role will be the organization of 4 events/workshops/residence “The Walking Body” in Guimarans and the leadership in the dissemination and assessment of the project.

The partnership is comprised of partners who have experience, knowledge and networks in the particular art field on which the project focuses, the Walking Arts. It consists of 7 partners from 5 countries (Greece, Belgium, France, Portugal and Spain) that organize Walking Art events and activities.
