4th Congress of the Misericórdia of Braga: Misericórdias and Migrations
In the year that the Palácio do Raio marks 10 years of operation as the Interpretive Center of the Memories of the Misericórdia of Braga, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia is organizing its fourth congress, on the theme of Misericórdias and Migrations. This event aims to bring together renowned experts and researchers in this field to discuss, share, and reflect on the importance of Misericórdias in migratory flows since their founding, how emigrants contributed to financing the social activities of these institutions, and their role in supporting travelers and pilgrims since the late 15th century.
