X Luso-Spanish Conferences on Medieval History: The Iberian Kingdoms in the 13th and 14th Centuries. On the 700th anniversary of the death of King D. Dinis
The X Luso-Spanish Conferences on Medieval History aim to constitute a space for reflection, debate, and sharing among medievalists, promoting scientific dialogue concerning the political, territorial, social, and cultural dynamics that marked the Iberian space in the transition to the Late Middle Ages.
Researchers are thus invited to submit proposals for free communications that fit within the thematic scope defined for this edition, focused on research about Iberian historical geography during the time of D. Dinis.
The X Luso-Spanish Conferences on Medieval History will feature speakers from Portugal, Spain, and other nationalities.
Proposals for free communications lasting up to 20 minutes are accepted, in one of the languages of the Conference: Portuguese, Spanish, English, or French.
Proposals must be submitted by September 15, 2025 to jornadaslusoespanholas@gmail.com
