Foundations
Walking as an artistic gesture, research method, and everyday social practice, grounded in historical and contemporary walking art.
Module 2 – Walking as Shared World-Making
Collective & relational practices
Walking as a way of moving together: community-based practices, collective memory, participation, and shared authorship.
Module 3 – Walking as Critical Spatial Practice
Power, politics, and place
Walking as critique: gender, borders, migration, inequality, mapping and counter-mapping, and contested spaces.
Module 4 – Walking in the Digital Age (mandatory for workshops)
Technology, commons & networked practice
Locative media, sound walks, collaborative mapping, and digital commons — extending walking into hybrid and online space.
