On September 25th and 26th, the 8th edition of the Film Series “Women, Heritage, Society” will take place, an encounter with cinema from a female perspective on heritage and society.

This series is held in collaboration with the Galician Council of Culture, the University of Minho, the Center for Galician Studies, the Xunta de Galicia, and the Vigo City Council, among other entities.

Participating in it, representing Lab2PT and the Institute of Social Sciences, are Alexandra Esteves and Rebeca Blanco-Rotea, integrated into the coordination team, and Bruno Madeira as rapporteur in Saturday’s session, when the films “Cienfuegos, 1913”, by Margarita Ledo (2008), and “Mulheres, Terra, Revolução”, by Rita Calvário and Cecília Honório (2025) will be shown.

 

The cycle will take place in Vigo, at the Vigo Museum of Contemporary Art (MARCO), starting at 6.30 pm on the 25th and at 7 pm (local time).
