Ex Archivo is an open science project that brings together palaeographic transcriptions of historical documents from different Portuguese archives, produced by students, teachers and researchers of the University of Minho.
Coordinated by Joana Sequeira, Arnaldo Sousa Melo, and Mário Farelo, the dataset, published in DataRepositoriUM, currently includes 41 documents transcribed by students within different curricular units of the Department of History.
It is available in open access on the Lab2PT Dataverse:

Ex Archivo contributes to the dissemination of documentary heritage in open access and stands as a pedagogical project of practical training in palaeography, valuing the work of researchers in training. The project remains open to collaboration and to the contribution of all those who wish to participate in the creation and sharing of new documentary collections, strengthening the links between teaching, research, and open science.
