The third of ten volumes that make up the collection “A Escolha do Porto: contributos para a atualização de uma ideia de Escola“, by the integrated researcher of Lab2PT/IN2PAST Eduardo Fernandes, has just been published.

After the first volume, Antecedentes, and the second, Construção de uma Identidade, this third book concludes the first series, dedicated to the Writing of Porto. Entitled Os Anos do Inquérito, it focuses on the six years between the beginning of the work on the Inquiry into Portuguese Regional Architecture and the publication of the book Popular Architecture in Portugal, a period marked by a succession of very relevant events, during which the ideas that were previously associated with the solitary journey of Fernando Távora began to be shared by a collective identity.
