Jorge Ribeiro, integrated researcher at Lab2PT/IN2PAST and Professor in the Department of History at UMinho, participated in the VIII International Congress of the Society for the Study of Ancient Ceramics in Hispania (SECAH) 2026, organized by the University of Vigo.
In co-authorship with David Mendes, he presented the paper “The tile kiln of Quinta do Amorim, Braga, Portugal”, a structure identified in 2009 during the construction of the new Braga Hospital. The relevance of the find stems from its reasonable state of preservation and also from being the only Roman-era shed kiln discovered in the city and its surroundings.
