The poster entitled The influence of the University of Minho Campus Park on the promotion of the Urban Freshness Island in the city of Guimarães: Simulations and students’ perception of its use and importance, authored by Master’s student in Geography David Quintas, and Professor Hélder S. Lopes, from the Department of Geography and integrated researcher into Lab2PT/IN2PAST, was awarded the Best Poster Prize at EUE 2025 – ESRI User Meeting, on October 29th, at CCB – Belém Cultural Center.

 

EUE is considered the largest national event for the ESRI GIS user community in Portugal. This meeting, which brings together a large number of institutions from the public, private, and academic sectors, showcases and discusses best practices developed using GIS technology.
