The portuguese team from the Interreg SUDOE Cultur-Monts Project at Lab2PT – UMinho met on 25 and 26 March for an internal working session at the Convent of São Francisco, the new premises of the UMinho Archaeology Unit.
The meeting, structured in three distinct phases, aimed to take stock of the work in progress and define the various tasks to be completed by the end of the year in the project’s two sub-areas (Arco de Valdevez and Terras de Bouro), namely the integration of data already collected; data planning; design of deliverables (atlases, itineraries, databases, information and heritage panels, audiovisual material and educational plan); planning of upcoming fieldwork; and the organisation of a workshop on place-names and oral traditions with the local community in São João do Campo – Terras de Bouro.
All team members took part in the work, along with Emilio Abad Vidal from the Galician Supercomputing Centre (CESGA), a project partner.
