Last Friday, May 15, 2026, Lab2PT hosted a meeting between ICS doctoral students in the fields of Archaeology, History, and Geography, who gathered at the UMinho Knowledge House – B-Lounge Space of the General Library, Gualtar Campus, for an afternoon of dialogue, sharing, and knowledge.

With great participation, 16 doctoral students presented their work, asked questions, and debated in an informal setting their objectives, doubts, and ideas regarding their doctoral projects.

Both in person and remotely (via Zoom), the various doctoral researchers, who were at different stages of their doctorate, were able to share work experiences, challenges, and strategies they encountered and employed in their individual journeys, as well as methodologies and activities explored in different stages of their project development.

 

The intention is for this meeting to become an annual event and to involve more and more students in this genuine exchange of knowledge among researchers, sharing of experiences, and debate of ideas.

 

SHARE meetings are seminars created, coordinated, and conducted by doctoral students enrolled in the third cycle of training in history, archaeology, and geography at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho/Lab2PT.
