A Look at the Architecture of Bracara Augusta with Jorge Ribeiro | European Heritage Days

As part of the European Heritage Days, an annual initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Union, this year under the theme “Architectural Heritage: Windows to the Past. Doors to the Future,” the D. Diogo de Sousa Archaeology Museum is offering a series of special themed tours.
Jorge Ribeiro, archaeologist and researcher at Lab2PT, will lead one of these tours, focusing on architectural elements and stonework, such as column capitals and bases, as well as other objects related to the world of construction preserved in the Museum.
The initiative aims to share a glimpse into the structure and aesthetics of ancient Bracara Augusta.
