Brazilian Archaeology and its paths: from the colonial era to the present day
On April 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., in room 1.01, Building 3 (Gualtar Campus), an open lecture entitled “Brazilian Archaeology and its Paths: from the Colonial Era to the Present Day” will be held. It will be taught by Dr. Cristina Kormikiari, from the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, as part of the project entitled “History and Archaeology in Ancient Africa: new historiographical perspectives based on excavations in the Maghreb and the Sahara”, of which she is a researcher.
This conference is organized and supported by the Archaeology Unit and the History Department of the ICS, in collaboration with Lab2PT/IN2PAST, under the coordination of Maria do Carmo Ribeiro and Fernanda Magalhães.
