From past to future: how the REVIVE project explores the know-how of 18th century master dyers as inspiration for the current textile industry | II Cycle of Open Classes - Practical Public History
The II Cycle of Open Classes – Practices in Public History comprises a set of four conferences, to take place between March and April 2025, in collaboration with the History Laboratory seminar of the Master’s Degree in History of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho.
The sessions will feature the participation of guests with diverse backgrounds in the field of historical knowledge transfer, who have been developing innovative practices in Public History and/or Citizen Science.
The cycle is organized and supported by the Department of History, in collaboration with Lab2PT/IN2PAST, under the coordination of Joana Sequeira and Francisco Azevedo Mendes.
The fourth and last session is entitled “From past to future: how the REVIVE project explores the know-how of 18th century master dyers as inspiration for the current textile industry” and will have as speaker Paula Nabais (LAQV-Requimte; Faculty of Science and Technology of NOVA University of Lisbon).
