An international recruitment competition is now open for the position of Assistant Professor in the disciplinary area of ​​Archaeology at the Institute of Social Sciences.

 

This competition is open under the FCT-Tenure financing instrument, aimed at promoting the hiring of doctorates exclusively for permanent positions for integration into the teaching career, assuming a limit of dedication to teaching activity of 4 hours per week during the first triennium.

 

Admission requirements:
1 — Hold a doctorate degree in a branch of knowledge/specialty considered appropriate to the disciplinary area of ​​the competition.
2 — If the doctorate was awarded by a foreign higher education institution, recognition in Portugal is mandatory, under the terms set out in the applicable legislation for this purpose. This formality (recognition of degrees and academic titles obtained abroad) must be completed by the application deadline.
3 — If you are not a native speaker of Portuguese, have language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for this Language (CEFR).
