Grand Tour 2025 | Walking, artistic creation, meetings with local communities
All interested parties are invited to take part in the Grand Tour 2025!
The Grand Tour 2025 is a collective walking journey through the Catalan countryside, combining artistic creation, encounters with local communities and time spent in nature.
It is not a retreat or a festival, but something in between—a slow, inspiring journey rooted in lived experience. This year, we will walk from Badalona on the Mediterranean coast to Taga-Ogassa in the mountains, between August 10 and 31.
The Grand Tour is a three-week walk, covering around 300 kilometers. Participation is flexible and can take place on the days that are most convenient for you. Along the way, you will pass through forests, rivers and villages, encountering local voices and stories.
Every day, you will walk around 15 km with artists who have different proposals to share with participants. At the destinations, there are also local people who accompany the participants.
People look, listen, read, hear and participate: poetry, dance, installations, performances, music. They look, feel, recognize, listen and participate in the following proposals: poetry, dance, installations, performance, music. They also explore the territory together with the local population.
The Grand Tour is an offer for everyone.
The walk is open in all formats: people can do the whole route or just a few days. The price of the walk, regardless of accommodation and food, is 10 to 15 euros per day and includes a guide, transport of tents and luggage, insurance and the activities of the artists.
The Grand Tour, organized since 2015, is a project for everyone: families, artists, hikers, nature and art lovers. It is a group experience that takes place through walks.
