As part of IN2PAST’s activities, a Strategic Forum is being organised to publicise the Associated Laboratory’s work on public policy issues and to strengthen its institutional coordination. The Strategic Forum aims to establish itself as a platform for presentation, dialogue and institutional positioning for IN2PAST, enhancing the visibility of its scientific contribution to the formulation and implementation of public policies in the areas of heritage, culture and the territory. At the same time, it aims to consolidate a strategy for engaging with public, private and civil society organisations, promoting the establishment of strategic partnerships and collaborations that will broaden the impact of the research carried out by the Associated Laboratory.

 

The first edition of the IN2PAST Strategic Forum will take place at the National Museum of Ethnology on 16 October 2026. During the afternoon, there will be a public session dedicated to presenting the Strategic Forum and reflecting on the role of research in public policy and society, with the following programme:

15:45–16:15 | Producing, experimenting, training, publishing
16:15–16:45 | Debate | What can research do for institutions and society?

This will be an opportunity for people to come together, reflect and work collaboratively; it also aims to highlight the work carried out by IN2PAST and to promote dialogue on the contributions of research to institutions and society.
