Tge presentation of the book “Mundo lusófono: a pronúncia da mulher no design de produto“, by Daniel Vieira and Bernardo Providência, took place on September 27th at 2:30 pm, in the MDPS room at IDEGUI, in Guimarães. The book was presented by Designer and Guest Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture, Art and Design, Cecília Carvalho.

The exhibition presented a selection of 58 objects designed by Portuguese-speaking women designers, ranging from furniture and lighting to accessories. These objects, with their diverse origins and production processes, offer both local and global perspectives, providing a vision of the future of Portuguese-speaking design. This initiative was supported through Multi-Year Funding from Lab2PT, Ref. UIDB/04509/2020, financed by national funds (PIDDAC) through FCT/MCTES

On the same occasion, it took place the closing of the exhibition with the same name that was on display at the Guimarães Design Institute since September 9th.
