Project Title

Interaction dialectics projected by the Architecture Biennials/Triennials: Venice, Oslo and Lisbon

Abstract

In light of the expansive modeling of Architecture Exhibiting Events that have been happening nowadays, the European experiences of Venice, Oslo and Lisbon, in their Biennale/ Triennale versions, stand as suggestive case studies, due to the diversity of procedural and interdisciplinary dynamics that are inherent to them. Thus, there will be explored the scenic context and the interactions triggered by the agents that inhabit therein, interacting one to each other and moving through that and other Events; then, from this systemic observation, it will be seek to ex-pose a reflection dedicated to this triad, both by a theoretical and a practical approach, thereby drawing an integrative proposal that may be considered valid for each of the mentioned Events, separately and together. As a whole, it is expected of being able to contribute to a meaningful articulation between these Events, promoted in real time, from the scientific point of view, in a combined Architecture and Communication report, which shall be able to ex-plain, through the dialectics underlying this process, the proximity and/or distance gradations that may justify their (co)existence - or not - in a same period.
