Developing a Semantic framework of stylistic and symbolic understanding for ecclesiastical architecture during the British colonial era in Karachi, Pakistan

Abstract

The work consists of 3 church case studies developed in 3 different eras during the British rule. Each timelines shows differences in stylisctic attributes. The stylistic (tangibles) were semantically connected through CIDOC CRM anf the intangibles attached to those are listed under UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Domains which are connected the tangibles to create a visual narrative of the element within its architecture.
