“Voltando ao Assunto”,  women’s creative processes that focus on issues of gender and identity.

Based on the visual and sound archive present in the “na volta” project, on artistic methodologies and artistic creation processes, themes common to the practice of different artists and craftswomen are identified, which reflect the problem of gender and female identity in the visual arts. Systematising and consolidating artistic and scientific knowledge from the research, the concepts of slowness, holding, ritual and cycle are explored in depth, as theoretical and practical content inherent to the processes of creation.
