The aim of the project is to enhance the collaboration between Lab2PT and the Municipality of Esposende on the topic of Creative Tourism, a topic with experience already systematized in the group of these researchers; to promote and raise awareness of the preservation of the Junco de Forjães crafts, a manual and ecological process of making baskets, mats, among other products; to promote and raise awareness of the dissemination of the culture of sargassum harvesting on the coast of Esposende, especially in the parish of Apúlia; and to disseminate and promote the ethno-technologies of the bread cycle and sargassum, through the valorization of a set of mills, designing a system of info-points and interpretation tables, among other information systems, allowing creative experiences of visitation and/or tourist enjoyment.
