2025 - Mod3DConstruction: 3D printing in the prefabrication of customizable thermally optimized modular façade panels
The Mod3DConstruction project aims to develop an Integrated Project Design (IPD) methodology for the creation of customizable, thermally optimized prefabricated façade panels, combining the efficiency of Modular Construction (MC) with the flexibility of 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP). By integrating parametric design, digital fabrication, and circular economy principles, it proposes the use of Construction Industry Waste (CIW) in printable mortars, exploring and promoting sustainable, climate-adaptable solutions.
