Similar to what happened in the last academic year, with the publication of “Doctoral Degree in Architecture 2023/2024”, this volume aims to establish an overview of the Doctoral Degree in Architecture at the School of Architecture, Art and Design (EAAD) of the University of Minho for the following academic year. It selects a set of activities that include a fifteen research projects within this 3rd cycle, a couple of Curricular Units (UC) being taught (for the last time!), and a duo of events organised under the motto of meeting and dialogue between students and supervisors. Somehow, this volume essentially exists to return a portion of this material to the academic community and others interested in a Doctoral Degree in Architecture such as that offered by the EAAD.

The volume is organised into three parts: the first (whose content is the responsibility of the students) brings together fifteenresearch projects from the Doctoral Degree in Architecture, summarised through text and images; the second (whose content is the responsibility of the guest speakers) explores the syllabus covered in the first academic semester in greater depth; and a third (whose photographic and essay material was compiled based on the activities that took place at two events) recovers the ‘First Day of the Doctoral Degree in Architecture’ and the ‘Day of the Doctoral Degree in Architecture’, highlighting their various components.
