This catalogue is divided into two parts.

The first, which serves as an introduction, was compiled by six researchers who, at the launch of the project A Paisagem que Fala em Portugal (The Landscape that Speaks), presented their reflections on the project’s series of lectures and its relationship with the accompanying exhibition events.

The second part, which is considerably more extensive, focuses entirely on the individual artistic and authorial work featured in the exhibition Vozes da Paisagem (Voices of the Landscape), held at the Exhibition Pavilion of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto, between December 2023 and February 2024.

One of the main goals of this publication was to clearly document all the works presented: first with panoramic views of the exhibition space, and then with detailed documentation on each artist or author. Both in the publication and in the conferences, held in Portuguese, Spanish and English, a bilingual description of all the works is provided.

The exhibition was curated by Pedro Maia in Portugal, Joan Carles Oliver and Maria-Josep Mulet in Spain and Alma Pineda and Mauricio Velasco in Mexico.
