The STREET research project, in a partnership with the Future Design of Streets association, will participate in the 1st International Congress on Resilient and Sustainable Cities with a presentation entitled ‘Revealing street transformation: an evaluation tool for rebalancing nature, social, and mobility issues in urban environments’, as part of the Sustainable Urban Planning and Territorial Planning track. The oral presentation will be given by Professor e Investigador Ivo Oliveira, focusing on graphical methods in articulation with measurement criteria developed to reveal comparative results from several recent street transformation projects in Portugal, covering mobility space allocation, improving soil permeability, enlarging green coverage, and providing conditions for mere street activities. The set of fundamental representational decisions presents a systematic survey of good practices.
