The two latest events organized by the UM team of the Green Gap Project have just been published on the Lab2PT YouTube channel:
– Lecture “Between Urban and Rural, Green Infrastructure in the Euroregion: Scales and Practices of Research and Design”, held on April 13th, which aimed to strengthen the capacity of local administration technicians, professionals linked to territorial planning, students and other agents interested in environmental valuation and sustainable territorial planning. This lecture featured the participation of Cristina Garcia Fontán, Luciano Ayala and Maria Fandiño, specialists in Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urbanism, and a final discussion moderated by Cidália Silva and Ivo Oliveira. Its realization was part of the action plan of the Green Gap Academy, a cross-border school launched within the framework of the European Green Gap project, which promotes, in 2025 and 2026, five courses, nine workshops and eight thematic colloquia. Through this specialized training network, the aim is to support the local ecological transition, empowering territorial agents to design and implement nature-based solutions that contribute to biodiversity restoration, the renaturalization of urban and rural spaces, and the planning of more resilient landscapes.
